Community Involvement

All members of Pinkowski – Allen Financial Group share a passion for giving-back to the community we belong to.  On a corporate level, along with Raymond James Ltd., we support several charitable organizations through the Raymond James Foundation, with a key focus on research, health-related programs, youth development and the arts. All areas valued by members of our group.

Whether it be volunteering our time or participating in fundraising initiatives, the Pinkowski-Allen team is committed to the communities that we, as well as our clients, work and live in.  Although we are always on the look-out for important and interesting causes, there are certain organizations within Vancouver and British Columbia that the Pinkowski-Allen team are currently proud to be engaged with;

BC Children's Hospital is the province's only full-service, pediatric acute care hospital and serves the one million children living in BC and the Yukon.

Prostate Cancer Foundation BC is devoted to promoting health and awareness, assisting support groups, supporting research dedicated to improve treatment, and finding a cure for Prostate Cancer.

Special Olympics BC is dedicated to providing individuals with intellectual disabilities opportunities to enrich their lives and celebrate personal achievement through positive sport experiences. In 55 communities around the province, we provide year-round training and competitive opportunities in 18 different sports to more than 4,200 athletes of all ages and abilities, thanks to the dedicated efforts of over 3,200 volunteers.

The Raymond James Foundation serves as a facilitator to mobilize the resources of Raymond James and the people at both corporate and grassroots levels. The primary roles for the foundation include;
  • Acting as a channel for contributions from Raymond James and our people.
  • Augmenting local fundraising efforts.
  • Encouraging our people to contribute to their communities through monetary gifts and volunteering.
  • Overseeing the allocation of the foundation’s funds and providing input to Raymond James’ annual corporate donations budget with specific targets and criteria for contributions both monetary and non-monetary.
